Double time

Ugh... I dislike doing doubles. I mean not that today was hard or anything but it's just long. Especially when your usher 2 at night. I mean I can see why you'd want the position, but it's just so boring because you can do everything you need to do very thoroughly and have it all done in under an hour and then it's like uh what now. You've done your bathroom checks yet a movie doesn't get out for another forty five minutes...what to do now.

So projecting was nice, me and Tark found all the platters to be uncovered...uh yea they need to be covered so as the print doesn't get dusty or if there's a leak there is minimal damage to it. Honestly those ceilings leak like a mother especially when it's raining. So I talked to one of the projectionist from last night and asked why none of the platters were covered and she said that Genine said that it's not really necessary to cover the platters at night. I'm like wtf yea right like she said that. So I told that to Tark and he's like that doesn't sound like something she'd say, she trained me to project and she said that you have to cover the platters. So after my break I talked to Genine about it and she just looked at me like wtf I didn't say that. So she's like thank's for telling me I'll put up a memo. Score one for the memos...

So earlier Kevin K. and Brian C. grilled out earlier today apparently we have a lot of burgers, hot dogs and brats left over from the picnic. So I got a yummy burger instead of reheated pizza. Kevin Y. (sorry folks no last names) showed up after his shift at Texas Roadhouse saw they were grilling and came over. It was fun I hung out down there from like 215-315 though I did have to start two movies during that time. It was fun. I took full advantage of my hour break I mean honestly I'm not a fan of doubles and knowing I'm usher 2 at night isn't exactly motivation to get back downstairs.

So I only have a week until I leave for New York, only a week with Shawn until I leave and only a week with my pup. I'm gonna miss them :) But New York will be fun, I can't wait for it it's definately a type of vacation for me.

Basically I'd write more but everytime I think of something I want to say I get distracted and it just keeps bothering me so it's time to go. Sides I have a full body massage waiting for me :P
